OUR TEAM

The Holt High School Dance Team is a proud, passionate, and high-energy group of student-athletes who represent Holt with spirit, strength, and style. We perform at football and basketball games, pep rallies, community events, and compete locally and nationally throughout the season.

Our program focuses on building strong technique, leadership, teamwork, and school pride—all while creating a fun and supportive environment where dancers can grow on and off the floor. Whether we’re hitting sharp pom motions on the sidelines or bringing creative choreography to the competition stage, the Holt Dance Team is all about hard work, unity, and showing up with heart.

Led by Head Coach Emilee Goldsmith and Assistant Coach Hannah Farmer, the team is guided by a shared passion for dance and a deep commitment to each other. At Holt, we believe in dancing for the person next to you—pushing each other to be better, lifting each other up, and celebrating every success as a team.

We’re always looking for new ways to connect with and give back to our community. If you have an event, idea, or opportunity for collaboration, we’d love to hear from you!

We are more than just a team—we’re a family, and we can’t wait to keep dancing forward together.

Our Coaches

Our coaches are the heart of the Wentzville Holt Dance Team—leaders who inspire with passion, discipline, and dedication. With years of experience in both dance and mentorship, they bring out the best in every dancer, encouraging growth on and off the floor. Committed to excellence, teamwork, and character, our coaches foster a positive and driven environment where every athlete is challenged, supported, and celebrated.

Emilee Goldsmith

Head Dance Coach

Emilee is heading into her second year as Head Coach at Holt High School and couldn’t be more excited to keep building a strong, spirited, and hard-working team! She trained in multiple styles growing up and was on her high school dance team before taking her passion to the collegiate level. Emilee danced competitively for three years at Missouri Baptist University, where her love for team culture and performance grew even stronger.

When she’s not coaching, Emilee keeps busy as Holt High School’s Principal Secretary and as an instructor at Inertia, where she teaches dance and tumbling to kids of all ages. Her favorite style is pom, and she loves bringing high energy, sharp motions, and team unity to the floor. Whether she’s choreographing halftime routines or cheering on her dancers at competitions, Emilee brings heart, energy, and a whole lot of sparkle to everything she does.

Hannah Farmer

Assistant Coach

Hannah Farmer is stepping into her first season as Assistant Varsity Coach for Holt’s dance program. A proud Holt alum, Hannah was a four-year member of the Varsity Indian Line Dance Team, serving on the leadership team from her sophomore through senior year.

Her training includes time with prestigious programs such as Saint Louis Ballet, Gus Giordano Dance School in Chicago, and the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleading Training Team (2022–2023). Hannah grew up dancing and competing at Angie’s Studio, where she now teaches, serves as Activities Director, co-manages the studio’s social media, and is a three-time award-winning choreographer.

Known for her upbeat, positive energy and her passion for helping dancers grow both on and off the floor, Hannah is beyond excited to give back to the team that helped shape her and can’t wait to get started this season!
